In the N.O.S.E. tournament, players play an 18-hole golf course, but at the end of the game, only scores for the holes that begin with the letters N, O, S, or E are counted, meaning hole one, six, seven, eight, nine, eleven, sixteen, seventeen, and eighteen. Another variation of the 18-hole N.O.S.E tournament is the 9-hole N.O.S.E tournament, in which the scores of only holes one, six, seven, eight, and nine are counted for the final score.
